Siddharth Anand Laughs At Shah Rukh Khan’s King Look Being Compared To Brad Pitt’s F1

Shah Rukh Khan’s look from the much-awaited movie, King, has been creating a buzz on social media since the poster dropped on his 60th birthday. Several eagle-eyed fans found a striking similarity between Shah Rukh Khan’s King look with Brad Pitt's F1. In the images, both stars are seen wearing blue shirts and tan jackets. This ignited discussions about whether photos were copy or a light-hearted inspiration. A viral tweet surfaced online, which read, “Funny logic by haters these days. If Bollywood movie has:- Fighter Jet - Copy of Top Gun Ship - Copy of Titanic Same dress code - Copy of F1 Orange Dress - Anti-Hindu Their IQ level is like - buffering since 1947.”

Reacting to the tweet, King director Siddharth Anand tweeted with laughing emojis and okay hand emojis. Shah Rukh Khan also opened up about the role in King during a fan meet on his birthday.
Shah Rukh Khan said, “I just feel, film ke andar naa kuchh interesting agar hum nahi karenge, toh wohi shots ke andar hero aayega, do gaane gaayega, do fight karega, chala jaayega. Toh, King ka jo character hai, bohot hi interesting hai. Siddharth aur Sujoy ne bohot prem se likha hai. Aur usme bohot saari buraaiyaan hain. Khooni hai, logo ko maar deta hai aur poochta bhi nahi, ‘kitne the kabhi poocha nahi’. I think storytelling ke liye, aur isliye nahi ki youngsters ab filmein dekhte hain, I think bohot zaroori hai ki mere jaise hero log jo hain, woh alag alag roles play karein. Kuchh inspiring ho, kuchh aspiring ho, kuchh comic ho, kuchh romantic ho.”

King is an action thriller movie, which features Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Saurabh Shukla, Jaideep Ahlawat, Abhay Verma, Akshay Oberoi and Karanvir Malhotra in key roles. The film has been backed by Gauri Khan, Siddharth Anand and Mamta Anand under the production banners of Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. According to reports, the King movie has been made on a budget of a whopping amount of Rs 400 crore. The film is slated to be released in theatres in 2026.
