Single Papa Season 2: Kunal Kemmu-led show Single Papa has topped the charts on Netflix since its release. The family comedy series has emerged as one of the most-watched shows on the streamer, thanks to its storyline and performances. The story follows Gaurav Gehlot, who embraces fatherhood while navigating life as a single child after getting a divorce. What started as a challenge to prove that he is not a "man-child" lacking direction eventually turns into a journey of purpose and responsibility in life. Gaurav's decision to adopt a child surprises his traditional Indian family, creating chaos and emotional drama. Following the success of season 1, the makers announced the renewal of season 2.
Kunal Kemmu’s Show Single Papa Renewed For Season 2
On Monday, Netflix made an announcement by dropping posters of the cast along with a caption that read, "Badhai ho, season 2 hone wala hai Watch Single Papa: Season 2, coming soon, only on Netflix."

Besides Kunal Kemmu in the lead, the family comedy series also stars Prajakta Koli, Manoj Pahwa, Ayesha Raza, Neha Dhupia, Suhail Nayyar, Dayanand Shetty, Aisha Ahmed, Dhruv Rathee and Isha Talwar.
Single Papa is created and co-produced by Ishita Moitra and Neeraj Udhwani, with Shashank Khaitan serving as the executive producer, and directing alongside Hitesh Kewalya and Neeraj Udhwani. The web series is produced by Aditya Pittie and Samar Khan under the Juggernaut Productions banner.
On season 1 receiving an overwhelming response, Tanya Bami, Series Head, Netflix India said, "We've been so touched by the love Single Papa has received. All About Single Papa
The show stars Kemmu as Gaurav "GG" Gehlot, whose life takes an unexpected turn after he adopts Amul, a baby he finds in his car and considers him a sign from god. Unaware that this decision is about to change his life. Gaurav moves forward despite the shock it causes within his family. His decision disrupts his family's plans to get his sister married, creating several hurdles.

From leaving his parents' house to hiring a "manny" (male nanny), Gaurav faces every challenge in his quest to officially adopt Amul as his son.
Season 2 is expected to explore the relationships, new challenges and emotional depth for the characters.
The show, which premiered on December 12, featured six episodes. It is the first Netflix series this year to be renewed for a second season.
