Smriti Mandhana and Palaash Muchhal have been making headlines following their announcement of calling off their wedding. The two shared official statements confirming the news and requesting privacy. Following this, fans noticed that they had unfollowed each other on Instagram. Now, in the latest development, Smriti has removed all photos and videos featuring herself and the music composer. Interestingly, Palaash's social media handle still features all moments, including their viral proposal video. This action by the Indian cricket star clearly signals a clear step towards moving on and putting all rumours to rest.

Fans have also noticed other changes on Smriti Mandhana's Instagram profile. In addition to removing posts featuring Palaash and she has also removed evil eye emoji from her bio.

Notably, Palaash's profile on Instagram still features the video of his grand proposal to Smriti at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, the same venue where the Indian women's team lifted the 2025 World Cup trophy. However, Smriti has deleted all engagement and wedding festivities-related posts, including the proposal clip.

Smriti Mandhana Calls Off Wedding With Palaash Muchhal

On Sunday, Smriti finally addressed the speculations about her wedding through an official statement. Her post on Instagram story read, "Over the past few weeks there has been plenty of speculation around my life and I feel it is important for me to speak out at this time. I am a very private person and I would like to keep it that way but I need to clarify that the wedding is called off."

She added, "I would like to close this matter here and implore all of you to do the same. I request you to please respect the privacy of both families at this time and allow us the space to process and move on at our own pace.I believe there is a higher purpose driving us all and for me that has always been representing my country at the highest level. I hope to continue to play and win trophies for India for as long as possible and that is where my focus will forever be."

Her statement was soon followed by Palaash's reaction. He also addressed the ongoing cheating allegations against him. A portion of his note stated, "My team will be taking strict legal action against those spreading false and defamatory content. Thank you to everyone who has stood by me with kindness in this tough time."
