Sonakshi Sinha is all set to share screen space with Paresh Rawal in the upcoming supernatural thriller Nikita Roy. The actress is also a fan of Rawal's iconic portrayal of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte in the Hera Pheri franchise. She echoed the same sentiments as millions of fans after the actor's exit from the much-awaited movie Hera Pheri 3. Sonakshi revealed how she cannot imagine this franchise without Paresh Rawal in it.
During the promotion of Nikita Roy, Sonakshi was asked about her take on Paresh Rawal's exit from Hera Pheri 3. In a conversation with IANS, she said, that there is absolutely no way that she can imagine the franchise without Rawal. The actress stated that his presence is essential to the film in order to maintain the charm of the franchise.
On May 18, Paresh Rawal shocked everyone with his social media post about his exit from Hera Pheri 3, which also stars Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty. Since then, he has been in the news and involved in legal battles with the makers of the film. With recent developments, fans have been wondering if the actor will return as Baburao or not. Amid this, several actors' names have popped up, with audiences speculating who might take on Rawal's character in the movie.
Not only did Sonakshi share her views on Paresh Rawal's Hera Pheri 3 but also opened up about working with him for the first time in Nikita Roy. She stated, "Fantastic. I think it was such an honour for me to share screen space with an actor of his calibre. And, you know, in terms of his body of work and how amazing he is, it was an amazing experience for me."

The film marks the directorial debut of her brother Kussh S Sinha and is slated to release in theatres on June 27, 2025. The movie also stars Arjun Rampal and Suhail Nayyar.
