Thamma Box Office Collection Day 13: Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer horror comedy movie that opened in theatres on October 21 on the occasion of Diwali. Helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the latest instalment of the Maddock Films Horror Comedy Universe received overwhelming responses for its unique storyline and powerful screen presence. Thamma opened with excellent numbers on its release but saw a major drop in numbers in the second week. On its second Sunday, the film maintained its pace, hinting that it might still manage to cross Rs 150 crore.
According to trade analyst Sacnilk, Thamma on its opening day collected Rs 24 crore at the box office and made a total collection of Rs 108.4 crore during its first week. But the movie saw a giant drop on its second Monday as it minted Rs 3 crore. However, on the second Sunday, Thamma collected Rs 4.25 crore, bringing in a total collection of Rs 120.05 crore. It had 10.54 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 31.38 per cent in the afternoon shows, 40.10 per cent in the evening shows and 25.11 per cent in the night shows.

About Thamma Movie
According to reports, the horror-comedy is said to be made on a budget of Rs 145 crore. If the reports are to be believed then Thamma has a long way to cross the budget mark and start earning profits. The movie debuted in theatres with Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s romantic drama Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. The movie also faced box office clash with Gujarati movie Chaniya Toli.

Meanwhile, Thamma movie’s story revolves around two destined lovers, who battle supernatural forces, family ties, nature itself to their forbidden romance in a mystical world where ancient powers and prophecies threaten to keep them apart. Alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Ayushmann Khurrana the movie also stars Sapthami Gowda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles.
