When Yuzvendra Chahal Teased About Dhanashree Verma's Demands For Diamonds: ‘Jab Bhi Ladayi Hoti Hai…’

Yuzvendra Chahal has been making headlines ever since his divorce rumours with Dhanashree Verma started last year. The duo’s separation also grabbed eyeballs due to their social media posts and especially when the Indian cricketer was seen wearing a ‘Be Your Own Sugar Daddy’ T-shirt on the final hearing divorce. Recently, Chahal talked about the motive behind wearing the T-shirt on Raj Shamani’s podcast. He stated that he just wanted to give a message without creating any drama. Days after his statement, an old clip has gone viral online when Dhanashree was part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, where the cricketer appeared as a guest.

In the clip, the hosts planned a rapid-fire game in which Dhanashree held up a placard that read ‘Diamond’. Yuzvendra Chahal joked, “Joh humesha aap demand karte ho. Jab bhi ladayi hoti hai uske baad aap kuch na kuch demand karte ho.” Dhanashree then asked, ‘what, when?’ after which Chahal responded it holding up his diamond earrings. He then clarified that she would never actually demand diamonds. Chahal also stated that his then-wife would want a ‘sorry’ after an argument and not any jewels.

While talking about ‘implying’ that he was in the marriage for money, Chahal said, “Kyunki saamne se kuch cheez hua tha, aur mera pehle mann nahi tha. Fir saamne se kuch hua toh fir maine kaaha ab sambhaal lo ab mujhe nahi parwah kisi ki. Maine na kisi ko abuse kara, bus mujhe message dena tha.”
