Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning has made history by becoming the first Hollywood release of 2025 to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in India. Released by Paramount Pictures India, the movie has captivated audiences nationwide. The movie has performed particularly well in dubbed versions, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, which helped boost its reach and box office numbers. Now, fans are waiting to watch this movie on OTT platforms from the comfort of their homes. Mission Impossible (1996)

Mission: Impossible, a 1996 American action spy movie directed by Brian De Palma, stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt. A reboot of the 1966 television series of the same name and its 1988 sequel series, it is the first instalment in the Mission: Impossible movie series. In the film, Ethan Hunt chases to uncover who framed him for the murders of most of his Impossible Missions Force (IMF) team. The movie is available to stream on JioHotstar and Prime Video and can also be rented on Google Play.

Mission Impossible 2 (2000)

Streaming on JioHotstar and Prime Video, Mission: Impossible 2 was released in 2000. The second instalment is directed by John Woo in which Ethan Hunt, played by Tom Cruise, teams with professional thief Nyah Nordoff-Hall, played by Thandiwe Newton, to secure a genetically modified disease, Chimaera. The disease is held by rogue Impossible Missions Force (IMF) agent Sean Ambrose, played by Dougray Scott, who is also Nordoff-Hall's former lover. 

Mission Impossible 3 (2006)

2006’s movie Mission: Impossible III, directed by J. J. Abrams also stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ving Rhames, Michelle Monaghan, Billy Crudup, and Laurence Fishburne, among others, alongside Tom Cruise. In Mission: Impossible III, retired Impossible Mission Force (IMF) agent and trainer Ethan Hunt is forced to return to active duty to capture elusive arms dealer Owen Davian, played by Philip Hoffman. The movie is available on OTT platforms, JioHotstar and Prime Video.

Mission Impossible 4 (2011)

Directed by Brad Bird, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol was released in 2011. The movie also stars Indian actor Anil Kapoor in supporting roles alongside Tom Cruise. In the movie, the Impossible Missions Force (IMF) is shut down after being publicly implicated in a bombing of the Kremlin, causing Ethan Hunt and his team to go without resources or backup in a life-threatening effort to clear their names. The movie is available to stream on JioHotstar and Prime Video and can also be rented on Google Play.

Mission Impossible 5 (2015)

Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, released in 2015, is directed by Christopher McQuarrie. The movie follows Impossible Missions Force agent Ethan Hunt and his team, who, subsequent to their disbandment and Hunt's pursuit by the Central Intelligence Agency, must fight The Syndicate, an international group of rogue government agents. The movie is available to watch on JioHotstar and Prime Video and can also be rented on Google Play.

Mission Impossible 6 (2018)

Streaming on JioHotstar and Prime Video, Mission: Impossible – Fallout is a 2018 movie directed by Christopher McQuarrie. Set two years after the events of Rogue Nation, Fallout follows Impossible Missions Force agent Ethan Hunt and his team in their efforts to prevent a nuclear attack by terrorist Solomon Lane and the mysterious extremist John Lark.

Mission Impossible 7 (2023)

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, released in 2023, is directed by Christopher McQuarrie. It stars Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, alongside an ensemble cast including Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, and Vanessa Kirby, among others. In the movie, Hunt and his IMF team face off against the Entity, a powerful rogue AI. The movie is available to watch on Netflix.

Mission Impossible 8 (2025)

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, the highly anticipated final instalment starring Tom Cruise, is currently playing exclusively in theaters. While an official announcement is still pending,  according to a report in Cosmopolitan, Paramount+ has secured the digital streaming rights. Additionally, the movie is expected to be available on JioHotstar and Prime Video, where all previous instalments can be found.
