Dharmendra died on November 24, 2025, at the age of 89 from heart difficulties and age-related ailments. After a protracted period of health troubles, involving repeated hospital stints and struggles with life-threatening circumstances, he passed away in his Mumbai home. The acclaimed actor's family, numerous friends, and acquaintances in the film industry attended his last rites, which took place at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai. Days after the actor's untimely death, rumours about who will acquire his Rs 400 crores-worth fortune have been gaining significant attention.

Dharmendra's wealth, which is reported to be between Rs. 400 and Rs. 450 crore, mostly consists of a 100-acre farmhouse in Lonavala and an opulent bungalow in Mumbai. Dharmendra and his first wife, Prakash Kaur, lived on the Lonavala property, which is a tranquil haven from the bustle of the city. Dharmendra's enterprise comprised an opulent home in a desirable area of Mumbai in addition to the stunning farmhouse.

Dharmendra's real estate portfolio comprised several residential and commercial properties in Maharashtra worth more than Rs. 17 crore, apart from his other agricultural and non-agricultural land holdings.  With the well-known Garam Dharam dhaba chain and another restaurant, Dharmendra also entered the hospitality industry.

What Will Sunny, Bobby, Esha And Ahana Deol Get?

It is anticipated that Dharmendra's six children will split his entire fortune, which is estimated to be between Rs. 400 and 450 crore, equally. From his first marriage, he had two sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol, two daughters, Ajeeta and Vijeta, and then two daughters again Esha and Ahana Deol, from his second marriage to Hema Malini.

According to Indian inheritance law, equal division would only be feasible if Dharmendra passed away without a will. It's unclear how his two wives, Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, would divide their assets.

Will Hema Malini Inherit Dharmendra's Wealth?

Kamlesh Kumar Mishra, a Delhi High Court counsel, stated while speaking with ABP News, that even while Dharmendra's six children have a claim on his property, Hema Malini might not automatically inherit a share if his first marriage to Prakash Kaur was still deemed lawful. His first wife may be entitled to legal recognition as his spouse.
