Zubeen Garg Death Case: In a major development in the investigation of the late singer's death case, two Personal Security Officers (PSOs) Nandeshwar Bora and Paresh Baishya have been arrested. They have been arrested after days of questioning by Asaam Special Investigation Team (SIT). Earlier, they were suspended by the Assam police following revelations of huge transactions in their personal bank accounts.  The investigating officers found out over Rs 1.1 crore transaction linked with two men. In Nandeshwar Bora's account, it was showing Rs 70 lakhs and Paresh Baishya's account around Rs 40-45 lakhs. Police stated that both the amounts are beyond their source of income. 

These arrests are the shocking angle to the death case of popular Assamese and Bollywood singer. His sudden demise in Singapore created shockwave in the state and the country. His admirers are demanding to know the questions behind the death of the singer. As reported by NDTV, Zubeen Garg had used the PSO's accounts to store and distribute money. Most of his distribution was related to give away money for chairatable cause. Both the accused were with the singer for several years. They were attached to him by the Assam Police after the singer received death threats from the banned militant group ULFA around a decade ago.

The financial transactions are being said to have been occured over the last four to five years. It raises question on how his security staff were involved in the financial dealings. 

As quoted by PTI, Zubeen's wife, Garima Saikia Garg said, "Zubeen had given some money to the PSOs for the social work he does. Investigations are going on. The PSOs have all the bank statements, and they also maintained a diary about various transactions."

She also added, "The issue should not be politicised. We just want to know what happened to him on that day. He was loved by all and got love and respect... So why was he neglected in that manner on that fateful day? This is our question. Why are his last videos being posted in parts, just like a web series? We are confused about the different things being said at different times. We just want to know the correct version and the truth."
