JE Entertainment Desk: Prabhas and Kriti Sanon-starrer movie 'Adipurush' is gearing up for its theatrical release. The advance booking in Telangana is open now with the state government recently issuing an order regarding the price hike of tickets for 'Adipurush'. As per new orders, single-screen theatres can sell the tickets for Rs 50 in addition to the actual ticket cost.
Directed by Om Raut, 'Adipurush' will hit the theatres on June 16. Just a couple of days ahead of its release, the Telangana government released a statement regarding the price hike. According to the government's directive, Telangana's single screens would be permitted to charge an additional Rs 50 for tickets for three days starting on June 16. In addition to the 3D fees, multiplexes must charge Rs 295 for admission.

The government has also given special permission for theatres to hold six shows on the first day. It is pertinent to note that the show will start in Telangana at 4 am.
About 'Adipurush'
'Adipurush' is an upcoming Indian epic mythological film based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. The film is written and directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series and Retrophiles. Adipurush stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdatta Nage.
The magnum opus is made on a massive budget of ₹700 crore (US$88 million), making it the most expensive Indian film ever made. The makers have spent an amount of ₹350 crore (US$44 million) on visual effects, while the original budget was initially estimated to be ₹500 crore (US$63 million).
