Hridayapoorvam OTT Platform: Mohanlal and Malavika Mohanan starrer Malayalam romantic movie has brought a fresh concept, which depicts new-age love. The film has received positive reviews from the audience and the critics. The movie had also opened at the box office, earning Rs 3.25 crore. Seeing the opening day collection, it can be predicted that the film will have a long theatrical run. Amid its big screen release, there is an OTT update on Hridayapoorvam.

As confirmed in the official opening credits, Hridayapoorvam will stream on JioHotstar after it theatrical run. This is consistent with the OTT platform, as Mohanlal’s previous films like L2: Empuraan and Thudarum are both streaming on JioHotstar. The release date is yet to be announced. As per reports, following the other films’ pattern of the superstar, Hridayapoorvam is likely to land on OTT about four weeks after its theatrical release.

What Is Hridayapoorvam All About?

The Malayalam romantic drama is about a heart transplant survivor, Sandeep, who attends the donor’s daughter, Haritha's engagement. But an unplanned stay draws him closer to the family. As time passes, he starts falling in love with Haritha. Hridayapoorvam features Mohanlal, Malavika Mohanan, Sangeeth Prathap, Sangita Madhavan Nair, Sangeetha Krish and Siddique in pivotal roles. The romantic drama has been directed by Sathyan Anthikad and produced by Antony Perumbavoor. Anu Moothedath is the cinematographer of the film. Justin Prabhakaran is the music composer. The movie holds significance as it marks the reunion of veteran filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad and Mohanlal after a decade. The film has been certified as ‘U’ by The Central Board of Film Certification CBFC. It is a wholesome entertainer that can be watched by every age group.

Mohanlal has surprised his fans in Canada as he went to AMC Theatre in New Brunswick to catch the screening of Hridayapoorvam. The actor was seen accompanied by his wife, Suchitra. As soon as he entered the crowd in theatres erupted with cheers and applause.
