IT Welcome To Derry Episode 6: IT Welcome to Derry travels back in time to see how, long before the Losers' Club ever existed, evil initially took hold in the eerie town of Derry. The play aims to reveal the shape-shifting clown's enigmatic origins and the fear he has inflicted on generations. This prequel is being heralded as one of the most anticipated horror series of the year, with psychological shivers and spooky small-town secrets. The show debuted on HBO Max in the United States on October 26, 2025, while Indian viewers will be able to stream it starting on October 27, 2025. Eight episodes make up the first season, which airs every Sunday night. The conclusion is set for December 14, 2025.

What Happened In Episode 5?

The children face Pennywise in the fifth episode, 29 Neibolt Street. They found out that Matty Clements was an entity creation when he arrived at their hiding place. Dick Hallorann also experienced a disturbing psychic experience related to his grandfather's recollections. Lilly and her friends took the children into the sewers, where they eventually saw Pennywise in his totality. 

In the first trailer, viewers get a glimpse of Derry's sad past via the eyes of Mike Hanlon's grandfather, who investigates several missing children.
