Roshan Mathew and Shine Tom Chacko starrer Malayalam movie started streaming on popular South OTT giant Manorama MAX. Sharing the update, the OTT platform wrote on Instagram “Maharani | Watch Now| manoramaMAX.”
About Maharani
The plot is set against the backdrop of a village in the Alleppey district of Kerala, named Kinassery. The movie shows how two people become a problem between two families, which led to a riot in the entire village. The official cast of Maharani features Roshan Mathew as Vijeesh aka Viji, Shine Tom Chacko as Ajeesh aka Aji, Johny Antony as Vijeesh and Ajeesh's father, Harisree Ashokan as Anirudhan, Rani's father, Balu Varghese as Mukundan, Rani's brother, Sruthy Jayan as Kavya, Ajeesh's girlfriend, Nisha Sarang as Vijeesh and Ajeesh's mother and Sminu Sijo as Radhamani, Rani's mother. It has been written by Ratheesh Ravi and directed by G Marthandan. Maharani has been produced by Sujit Balan under the production banners of SB Films and Badusha Productions.
The film has a runtime of 127 minutes. Maharani movie was initially officially announced in September 2023. The shooting of the movie began in October in Cherthala and was wrapped up in November. Loganathan Srinivasan and Noufal Abdullah have done the cinematography and the editing of the movie, respectively. The music of Maharani has been given by Govind Vasantha.
