However, the latest update might disappoint her fans as she will not be attending the event this year.
Priyanka Chopra Is Excited To See Zendaya At Met Gala
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Priyanka Chopra said, “I don't even know who's going this year. I’m definitely not attending this year because I’m filming, but I think I really do enjoy watching people's creativity during the Met Gala and I am really excited to see how it will turn out. I actually have not read anything about who all is going this year.”
When she was told Zendaya will be attending this year’s Met Gala, Priyanka expressed excitement and said, “She’s amazing, so we definitely look forward to her.”
The 2024 Met Gala is scheduled to happen on Monday, May 6, in New York City at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. This event will honor the Costume Institute’s latest exhibition titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”
Deepika Padukone To Not Attend Met Gala?
Not only Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone who has been a part of Met Gala since 2017, will not be attending the event this year. Sources close to her have revealed that Deepika has committed her schedule to ongoing projects, including the shoot for Singham 3 and the launch of Kalki 2898 AD, scheduled for May.
Deepika Padukone recently announced her pregnancy with husband and actor, Ranveer Singh. The actor took to her Instagram account and shared the news with her fans and followers. According to the post, the ‘Pathaan’ actor’s delivery date is due in September, 2024. Soon after the post went viral, fans sent heartfelt wishes to Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
