Following Priyanka Chopra's recent appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast to promote her new movie, an old episode of the podcast has resurfaced online. The episode features host Alex Cooper and former host Sofia Franklyn discussing Priyanka and Nick Jonas, with Reddit users claiming that the audio snippet is from a 2020 episode. In the recording, the hosts make various comments about Priyanka, including remarks about her sexual orientation and physical appearance.
On Reddit, a user shared the audio clip along and stated, "I wonder if PC knew about this before she went on the podcast recently." The comments section on Reddit described the exchange as "vile" and "racist."
The audio snippet begins with one of the hosts discussing "the most annoying celebrity couple" without directly mentioning their names. Eventually, the hosts explicitly mention Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas and said, "There is a celebrity couple, and I don’t want to say their names, but Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. I find both of their faces very disturbing." The other host can be heard laughing in the background.

She recalled sharing this sentiment in an Instagram story, which resulted in receiving numerous direct messages from people who agreed with her perspective. In her story, she admitted to labeling Priyanka as a "lesbian" and described the couple as "disgusting" and "ugly". She criticized the couple for what she perceived as excessive self-promotion through frequent posting of photographs and content showcasing their love, which she found repulsive and offensive.
"I want to punch them," the first woman said, recalling what happened when she shared this sentiment in an Instagram story, which resulted in receiving numerous direct messages from people who agreed with her perspective. In her story, she said that she had called Priyanka a 'lesbian', and the couple 'disgusting' and 'ugly'. "The amount of bragging and the amount of photographs and content that they are constantly posting to prove to the world that they are in love with each other is disgusting and repulsive," she said.

People on social media strongly reacted to this. "What a disgusting thing to say about anyone. Just reading this is boiling my blood. I am not even a fan of PC or Nick. But this is vile, bigoted and 100% racist AF," one person wrote. "Why would you say all this about someone you don’t know, this is so weird and disgusting. That’s honestly sad she trusted her and Alex said this about her. IDK how Alex didn’t feel guilty or nervous even talking to her," another added.
Previously, Priyanka responded strongly to being referred to as a "global con artist" in an article published by a New York magazine, which was subsequently removed. Recently, she made an appearance as a guest on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
