Priyanka Chopra's Daughter Dons Traditional Lehenga For Home Puja: Priyanka Chopra is filled with joy as her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas donned a traditional lehenga for the very first time. Priyanka took to Instagram to post pictures of her adorable little one in the new outfit. Additionally, the actor organised a special religious ceremony at home to mark her father's death anniversary.
In her Instagram post, Priyanka Chopra shared a picture of Malti, who was walking while holding someone's hand. Along with the photo, Priyanka wrote, "Someone found her belly button in her gorgeous lehenga by @poojarajpaljaggiofficial." The image depicted Malti wearing an adorable light purple lace lehenga and a top with straps, along with a small dupatta elegantly draped around her neck.
In a subsequent image, Malti was captured collecting flowers from the ground following the pooja. Priyanka expressed her sentiment in the accompanying caption, stating, "Puja time, miss you Nana."
Malti, the couple's first child, was born to Priyanka and Nick in January 2022 through surrogacy. The pair made a collective announcement through a statement on social media: "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much (sic)."
In January this year, Malti had her first public appearance alongside Priyanka. They both attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony for the Jonas Brothers on January 30 in Los Angeles. During the event, the one-year-old was seated on Priyanka's lap while her father and uncles, Kevin and Joe Jonas, accepted their star.
In terms of her professional endeavours, Priyanka recently appeared in Hollywood movie Love Again, opposite Sam Heughan and Celine Dion, and Amazon Prime Video's series Citadel alongside Richard Madden.
Currently, the actress is busy filming for Heads of State, a project that also features John Cena and Idris Elba. Furthermore, she has an upcoming film titled Jee Le Zaraa, directed by Farhan Akhtar, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. Additionally, she is also set to co-produce a comedy film based on Indian wedding with Mindy Kaling.
