Amid this feud, the team of the Jailer actor issued an official statement condemning the remarks made against Vijay, stating that they were unacceptable.
Following this feud, Rajinikanth's team issued a statement, saying, "A person claiming to be a fan of Rajinikanth made derogatory statements about Vijay, which is highly condemnable and unacceptable. These remarks are entirely unacceptable and go against the principles upheld by true Rajinikanth fans. The repeated sharing of such harmful content only fosters division and animosity. Media and social networks should take responsibility and refrain from perpetuating such incidents.”
The statement also urged everyone to respect each other, regardless of fan culture. "All fans should uphold respect and mutual dignity. Cinema should unite people, not divide them. No fan should spread hatred against any actor or fellow human in the name of fandom. As followers of Rajinikanth, we do not and should not indulge in such behavior. Let us celebrate our favorite stars with love and positivity. Fan culture should be defined by respect and pride, not hatred," Rajinikanth's statement read.
