The film had an overall 47.35 per cent Malayalam Occupancy on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Released on November 23, Kaathal features Mammootty portraying Mathew Devassy, a retired banker turned politician, alongside Jyothika as Omana Mathew, his wife.
