Sharvari Wagh is currently basking in the success of her horror comedy movie Munjya. The movie has received a lot of praises for performances and the story line from the audience and critics. The actress has several projects in pipeline including Aditya Chopra’s Spy Universe franchise with Alia Bhatt. She has another film Vedaa in kitty which grabbed the attention of Alia as she appreciated the teaser. 

In an interview with ETimes, Sharvari revealed her first meeting with Alia Bhatt. She said “When I met Alia after we knew that we're going to do this film, the first thing she said to me was that your Vedaa teaser looks extremely fun, and I can't wait to watch that film, and that was a big compliment for me. Just for her to remember it and share it with me made me feel much more confident around her. One knows she's a big star and I love her. She's my favorite actress and her statement made me very confident. So, for me I was also trying to find my footing around her but she's super cool. She just made it so easy and I'm very excited.”

Spy Universe franchise will be led by female actresses. Both the stars will be seen playing super-agents in the action entertainer. Earlier Sharvari told PTI, “It is an exciting time for women in the industry because roles are written for them. The fact that films like spy-universe which were headlined by big superstars, and for me to be sharing screen with Alia Bhatt, who is a huge star, is a big deal and big responsibility.”

On the work front, Sharvari Wagh was last seen in Aditya Sarpotdar’s Munjya. The movie also starred Abhay Verma, Sathyaraj, Reema Chaudhary, Mona Singh, and Suhas Joshi in pivotal roles. It was released in theatres on 7th June.

Vedaa stars Sharvari Wagh, John Abraham, Tamanna Bhatia, Kshitij Chauhan, Abhishek Banerjee in pivotal roles. The movie will be released on theatre in Independence day this year.
