Stree 2 Box Office Collection Day 8: Directed by Amar Kaushik and featuring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, premiered on Independence Day. According to Sacnilk.com, the film has earned around ₹290.85 crore net in India over its first eight days. Despite a strong start and substantial weekend numbers, the film saw a natural decline on weekdays. However, the Raksha Bandhan holiday provided a boost, leading to a collection of ₹38 crore on Monday.
Stree 2 Box Office Report:
Although the film has experienced a decrease in earnings since then, it continues to perform well, maintaining double-digit figures. According to Sacnilk reports, Stree 2 earned ₹8.5 crore net from paid premieres held the day before its official release. It had a strong opening with ₹51.8 crore on Thursday. On its first Friday, the film grossed ₹31.4 crore and earned ₹43.85 crore on Saturday. The movie peaked on Sunday, with a box office collection of ₹55.9 crore. Despite being a weekday, it collected ₹38.1 crore on Monday and followed with ₹25.8 crore on Tuesday and ₹19 crore on Wednesday. In the week following its release, the film saw a further dip, making an estimated ₹16 crore net on Thursday, bringing its total to approximately ₹290.85 crore.
With the Friday figures in, the film is set to surpass ₹300 crore at the domestic box office. Additionally, it has already exceeded ₹400 crore globally.
About Stree 2
The film also features Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles. Akshay Kumar made a surprising appearance in Stree 2 and is expected to play significant roles in future installments of the franchise. Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan also made cameo appearances. In Stree 2, the village of Chanderi is terrorized by a malevolent entity known as Sarkata, prompting the villagers to enlist Stree’s help to confront the threat.
