Tamil superstar Suriya is one of the highest South Indian paid celebrities and enjoys a healthy fan following across India. The actor recently celebrated his 48th birthday on July 23 by unveiling the first look of his upcoming film 'Kanguva.'

However, a tragic incident comes to the news a day after the actor's birthday celebration as two of his fans died by electrocution while setting up a banner of Suriya in Andhra Pradesh. The incident took place in Palnadu, with two undergraduate students putting up a banner of the actor. The family members of the victim keenly blame the college for this incident.

Two college-goers Nakka Venkatesh and Poluri Sai o Narasaraopet Mandal were electrocuted to death in Mopulavari Palem village of Palnadu district in Andhra Pradesh. According to a report in ANI, the incident occurred when an iron rod came into contact with an overhead electric wire causing the spot death of the two.

The bodies of the two have been sent for postmortem in Narasaraopet government hospital. The two were in the second year of their college in Narasaraopet. The sister of Poluri Sai blamed the poor maintenance of the college for her brother's death.

According to ANI, she said, "College is responsible for my brother's death. We are paying lot fees to the college. Before joining the college they assured us that students would be secured and monitored, but, the college is not protecting and monitoring the students in the hostel. We are daily labors. We struggle a lot to pay college fees, striving for a good life for my brother. It's an awful incident that happened."

The first official glimpse of Suriya's upcoming much-awaited film 'Kanguva' is also said to be 'mighty valiant saga' was shared on his birthday. The film is directed by Siva, whereas the music given is by Devi Sri Prasad. The film also stars Disha Patani in pivotal roles.

Sharing the first poster of the film on Twitter, the makers of the film wrote, "The fearless man. The wild life. The powerful story. Get ready to witness it all... The King is here." The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, English, and in Hindi.
