Tamannaah Bhatia is busy promoting her upcoming supernatural thriller movie Odela 2. Directed by Ashok Teja, the film is gearing up for its release on April 17, 2025. The actress, who is in Hyderabad, was seen visiting Sri Peddamma Thalli Temple at Jubilee Hills to seek blessings. A video of her spiritual visit is going viral on social media.
Tamannaah Bhatia looked stunning in a mustard ethnic suit with a contrasting red and golden shawl draped over her shoulder. She neatly tied her hair in a bun and accessorized with a gajra, giving full vibes of her character in the movie. The actress was seen posing for the paparazzi after offering her prayers.

Tamannaah is set to enthrall the audience with her role as Shiva Shakti in her upcoming Telugu film, Odela 2. Her character and the tag ‘milky beauty’ have raised a lot of questions. Recently, at the pre-release event in Hyderabad, she responded to a question regarding her casting as a sadhvi despite her established image as a ‘milky beauty.’ She was heard saying, “You are calling me a milky beauty, but why did you look at a milky beauty and think that she can't be Shiva Shakti? Your question has the answer in it. He [Ashok Teja] does not see the milky beauty as something to be ashamed of or feel bad about. Glamour in a woman is to be celebrated, and we women must celebrate ourselves. Then, we can expect others to celebrate us. But if we look at ourselves in a certain way, no one will respect us.”
Defending the director's casting decision, she added, "Here we have a wonderful gentleman [Ashok Teja] who does not see women like that. He looks at women as divine. Divine can be glamorous, lethal, and powerful. A woman can be many, many things."
Odela 2 is a supernatural thriller, directed by Ashok Teja and written by Sampath Nandi. Starring Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead role, the film also features Hebah Patel, Vasishta N Simha, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, and many others.
