Thalapathy Vijay is all set for the release of his upcoming movie The Greatest Of All Time. The film will hit the theatres on September 5, 2024 and the advance booking has already been started. The movie is on the verge of achieving a remarkable milestone, with its day one advance booking figures poised to overtake those of Indian 2, potentially setting a new record for the highest pre-sales of 2024.

The movie is receiving an overwhelming response in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, driving significant pre-sales. So far, the film has achieved an impressive milestone, with day one ticket sales grossing Rs 9.80 crores, excluding blocked seats. This remarkable feat includes the sale of over 4.65 lakh tickets at the Indian box office, underscoring the movie's massive popularity and anticipation.
Bengaluru is dominating the pre-sales charts by a substantial margin, closely followed by Chennai, with the combined total of these two cities already surpassing Rs 4.50 crores gross (excluding blocked seats). With a remarkable momentum building up and three days still remaining for the advance booking, The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) is poised to achieve a staggering milestone of 20 crores in day one pre-sales, setting the stage for a potentially record-breaking opening.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment, the upcoming Tamil science fiction action film The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) stars Vijay in dual roles, alongside an ensemble cast including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and others. Marking the studio's 25th production and Vijay's penultimate film before his entry into politics, GOAT follows the story of Gandhi, a former anti-terrorist squad leader, who reunites with his team to confront the consequences of their past actions.
