Renowned actress Trisha Krishnan made a special appearance at a theatre in Chennai on Thursday, where she attended the highly anticipated release of Venkat Prabhu's latest directorial venture, The Greatest Of All Time (The GOAT), starring Vijay Thalapathy in the lead role. As she entered the theatre, surrounded by her entourage, Trisha couldn't help but flash a bright smile, exuding excitement for the film, in which she has made a special cameo appearance.

According to Galatta Media, Trisha Krishnan attended the first show of Vijay's The GOAT in Chennai, dressed in a white t-shirt and jeans. Initially confused by the crowd, she smiled and entered the theatre with producer Archana Kalpathi, flanked by security, to watch her special cameo in the film.

The Tamil sci-fi action film, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment. The movie features Vijay in dual roles, alongside an ensemble cast including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, and others. As the 25th production of the studio and Vijay's penultimate film before his political debut, GOAT follows the story of Gandhi, a former anti-terrorist squad leader, who reunites with his team to resolve issues stemming from their past actions.

The movie was officially announced in May 2023. The title was later confirmed as The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) in December 2023. Principal photography began in October 2023, with filming taking place in multiple locations, including Chennai, Thailand, Hyderabad, Sri Lanka, Pondicherry, Thiruvananthapuram, Russia, and the United States. The shoot wrapped up by late June 2024. The film features a talented crew, including music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematographer Siddhartha Nuni, and editor Venkat Raajen, who have contributed to bringing this ambitious project to life.

Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the soundtrack for The GOAT, his 2nd collaboration with Vijay and 10th with Prabhu. T-Series acquired the music rights for Rs 26 crore. The 4-song album, featuring Whistle Podu, Chinna Chinna Kangal, Spark, and Matta, was released on September 3, 2024, two days before the film's release.
