Ustaad Bhagat Singh UPDATE: The much-awaited Telugu movie Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan, is all set to resume shooting soon. The movie has generated a lot of buzz among fans, because of its high-energy cop drama storyline and impressive cast. Actress Sreeleela will play the female lead and music is being composed by popular music director Devi Sri Prasad. The Telugu movie was officially launched in 2023 with a lot of excitement, but production had to be paused just ten days into shooting.

The Telugu movie Ustaad Bhagat Singh has been on hold for a while, mainly because of Pawan Kalyan's duties as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and other political responsibilities. However, according to a report in Telugu Cinema the shoot will soon be back on track. Director Harish Shankar has reportedly confirmed that filming will restart shortly, with Pawan Kalyan expected to join the sets on June 12. This has brought a fresh wave of excitement for fans who are eagerly waiting to see him back on the big screen.

With the actor-politician now setting aside time to complete his pending movie projects, Ustaad Bhagat Singh is expected to be ready for release by summer 2026. The Telugu movie promises to be a powerful action entertainer, featuring Pawan Kalyan in the role of a fierce and dynamic police officer. Expectations are high, especially since the actor-director duo of Harish Shankar and Pawan Kalyan previously delivered the blockbuster movie Gabbar Singh.

On the other hand, there had been speculation that Ustaad Bhagat Singh might be a remake of the Tamil hit movie Theri, starring Thalapathy Vijay. However, recent reports confirm that the movie is based on an original script.

Pawan Kalyan’s Upcoming Projects

On the work front, Pawan Kalyan has a packed slate of upcoming projects. His long-delayed historical action movie Hari Hara Veera Mallu is also nearing release. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krisna, the movie features a star-studded cast including Bobby Deol, Sathyaraj, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, Dalip Tahil, and Jisshu Sengupta. Pawan Kalyan has already completed filming for this project.

Meanwhile, he is also working on a gangster-themed movie titled OG, which is currently in production. With multiple big projects lined up, fans of Pawan Kalyan have a lot to look forward to in the coming months and years.
