Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi's love affair was a known love story in the streets of the South film fraternity. However, the duo never accepted their relationship publicly, until yesterday, as the duo got engaged on June 9, putting an end to years of long rumors and making things official with a formal engagement ceremony.
Immediately after the ceremony, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi took to their official Instagram handles where the couple shared lovely stills from the ceremony and added a sweet caption that read, "Found my Lav! @itsmelavanya," wrote the actor in his post. "2016 (heart and infinity emoji) Found my forever! @varunkonidela7," Lavanya Tripathi captioned her post.

The newly-engaged couple is now receiving immense love from their friends and family, where actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who shared a warm friendship with both the actors, took to her Instagram and congratulated the couple. Varun Tej's younger sister and actor Niharika Konidela also dropped a bunch of red hearts for the couple.

On the other hand, actress Pragya Jaiswal commented, "Many congratulations u guys. Lakshmi Manchu commented, "Congrats you two (heart emojis) Here's wishing you a lifetime of happiness."
Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty also blessed the duo with heart emoticons, whereas the two have been receiving immense love from their fans as well, where one user wrote, "Keeping it private, until it's permanent."
For the unversed, Varun Tej Konidela and Lavanya Tripathi fell in love while the two were filming their hit films 'Master' and 'Antariksham.' According to a report in Pinkvilla, Varun officially proposed to Lavanya at her birthday bash which was held in Bangalore. Until the engagement, the duo were successfully able to keep their relationship under wraps.
Looking at the beautiful pictures of the duo, Lavanya Tripathi opted for a pastel green embellished Banarasi saree which was by Anita Dongre. She completed her look with a messy bun with Jasmin gajra and a kundan neckpiece with green tourmalines, matching earrings, and bangles. On the other hand, Varun Tej looked dapper in an off-white embroidered kurta with matching pants.
