Vettaiyan OTT Release Update: Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s Tamil movie was released in theatres on October 10 and dubbed in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The action crime drama crossed Rs 100 crore within 4 days of its release. But since then, the movie has been struggling to gain numbers at the box office. The net collection of Vettaiyan stands at Rs 136.45 crore. However, the movie is set to make its digital debut soon. Vettaiyan will be arriving on an OTT platform before a month of its theatrical release. 

About Vettaiyan

The action crime drama revolves around a drug trade that has been discovered by a government school teacher. The crime was occurring near her workplace. The investigation was handed over to a police officer who use unusual methods to investigate cases. He later finds that there are several crimes in the drug trade. It was directed by TJ Gnanavel. The film features Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Dushara Vijayan, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh and Rana Daggubati in pivotal roles. 

Vettaiyan Budget

Produced by Lyca Productions, the film was made on a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore. However, with the current box office numbers, it seems difficult for the movie to overcome the budget. 

Vettaiyan On OTT

Prime Video acquired the digital rights to Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s Tamil movie. The popular streaming platform bought the OTT rights of Rs 90 crore. After its theatrical run this month, the movie is set to make its digital debut in November just after Diwali.  Vettaiyan will be released on Prime Video on November , 2024. You can watch the movie in your comfort zone of your home very soon.
