Priyanka Chopra Singing On TV Goes Viral: An old video of Priyanka Chopra singing Mariah Carey's 1993 track 'Hero' has surfaced online. In the video, Priyanka is seen dedicating the song to her father stating, "this is for my daddy." In the clip, Priyanka can be seen dedicating the song to her father by saying, "this is for my daddy." This video has attracted numerous likes and comments since it was posted on Instagram and has currently gone viral on social media.
On Friday, Simi Garewal posted a video clip from a 2012 episode of her show "India's Most Desirable," in which Priyanka Chopra had appeared as a guest. In the video, Priyanka is seen holding a microphone and singing the song passionately. Simi, added a caption to the post, praising Priyanka Chopra Jonas as "India's Most Desirable" and highlighting her father's aspiration for her to become an international singer, which she surpassed by becoming a globally acclaimed superstar. Simi also suggested that, given her voice, Priyanka and Nick should consider recording a duet together, expressing confidence that it would be a hit.

Reacting to the video, in the comments section, a fan wrote, "What a lady she is." Another remarked, "She sings so Soulfully... There are many hidden talents in her. I love and bless her... Thank you Simi Garewal for the post." A third replied, "Always an inspiration, Priyanka." A fourth reacted, "Thank you Priyanka for singing this song…for my daddy." Ashok died on June 10, 2013.

However, one netizen was not quite pleased with her performance. The person wrote, "So much drama in singing, probably to cover the flaws. You'd notice that actual trained singers don’t have this much drama." Replying to her comment, Simi wrote, "Drama?? Where was the drama? Do elaborate..(if you can!) (face with rolling eyes emoji)."
She added, "Never 'forget fighting' for your honour. You had the courage to defend your values - and yourself. I wish you continued strength to live your life on your terms. I wish you peace of mind. I wish you daily joys. You are a true hero. Believe it! (smiling face with halo emoji)."
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra was last seen in Hollywood movie 'Love Again,' alongside Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. She also appeared in a series crafted by The Russo Brothers. This high-octane show centred on two top-tier agents, Mason Kane (played by Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (portrayed by Priyanka), who are part of the prestigious global spy agency, Citadel.
Her upcoming projects are 'Heads Of State,' where she will be starring alongside John Cena and Idris Elba and 'Jee Le Zaraa,' co-starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, and directed by Farhan Akhtar.
