Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming film The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) has been generating excitement among fans, and recent rumours suggest that cricketing legends MS Dhoni and Ruturaj Gaikwad may make cameo appearances in the movie. Actor Ajmal, in an interview with YouTube channel SS Music, hinted at the possibility of these appearances, indicating that official confirmation would come from the production house.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, GOAT has been a subject of much anticipation. The film's shooting has already commenced, with one schedule completed in Puducherry and another currently underway in Chennai. Following this, the team is expected to move to Sri Lanka to wrap up the remaining scenes.

Fans of Vijay were thrilled to learn about the shooting in Puducherry, and many gathered to catch a glimpse of their favorite star. Despite their enthusiasm, Vijay did not participate in the shooting on that particular day, leaving fans disappointed after waiting for over two hours.

Apart from Vijay, the film features a stellar cast including Yogi Babu, Jayaram, Prabhu Deva, and Laila. AGS Entertainment is producing the film, which has only added to the excitement surrounding it.

In addition to his film career, Vijay has also made headlines for his political aspirations. He recently launched his party, Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam, and aims to contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly polls. Vijay has expressed his intention to leave cinema after completing two more films to focus on his political career.

Vijay's success in cinema is undeniable, with reports suggesting he earns around Rs 125 crore per film. His last release, Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and also starring Anurag Kashyap and Sanjay Dutt, performed exceptionally well, grossing over Rs 600 crore worldwide. The film is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
