To prevent fire incidents and ensure prompt relief during Diwali, the Haryana Fire and Emergency Services Department has ordered the advance deployment of fire engines at key locations across Gurugram.

According to officials, special arrangements will be in place from 8 AM on October 19 until 8 AM on November 21, 2025. During this period, fire engines from various stations will be stationed at strategic points, allowing immediate action in case of any emergency.

Joint Director (Technical) Gulshan Kalra said fire officers and engineers have been instructed to ensure the timely deployment of vehicles at the designated sites. He added that the risk of fire incidents increases during Diwali due to fireworks, electrical decorations, and diyas (earthen lamps).

Fire engines will be stationed at the following locations: Badshahpur, Sikanderpur Metro Station, Sadar Bazar Bada Dakkhana Chowk, Daulatabad Dwarka Expressway Chowk, near Bhuteshwar Mandir Khandsa Road Mosque, Radha Swami Satsang Bhawan Kadipur Chowk, Palam Vihar (near Sector-23), Bilaspur Chowk, Farrukhnagar area, and IMT Manesar Chowk.

The public has been urged to exercise caution and immediately report any emergency to the fire service helpline. Firefighters will also be assigned relief and rescue duties during the festival to ensure safety.
