To accelerate industrial development in Haryana, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Thursday held an interactive dialogue with entrepreneurs in Gurugram, where he announced a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening the state’s startup ecosystem and positioning Haryana as a global industrial hub.
The Chief Minister revealed that a world-class incubator will soon be established in partnership with leading startups, corporates, and academic institutions. Equipped with plug-and-play workspaces, innovation labs, high-performance computing resources, and prototyping centres, the incubator will provide state-of-the-art facilities to nurture cutting-edge research and innovation.

Saini further announced that the state government will introduce a dedicated semiconductor policy in line with the Centre’s vision to make India a global semiconductor hub. In addition, Haryana will frame a special policy for Global Capability Centres (GCCs), with Gurugram positioned as a potential GCC capital of the world.
He emphasised the state’s commitment to the “Make in Haryana” and “Design in Haryana” initiatives, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for a developed India through “Make in India” and “Design in India.” To support this, the government is developing 10 new Industrial Model Townships (IMTs) across 20,000 acres of voluntarily offered land, equipped with advanced industrial and startup infrastructure.
The CM highlighted that Haryana already has more than 9,100 recognised startups, with 50 per cent led by women entrepreneurs. He said incubation centres will be set up in all industrial estates to provide local-level guidance, resources, and networking support. Additionally, state-of-the-art AI hubs are being established in Gurugram and Panchkula.
Industries Minister Rao Narbir Singh, speaking at the event, said Haryana is rapidly moving forward in industrial and technological development, with the industries budget increased by 126 per cent from Rs 800 crore last year to over Rs 1,800 crore. He assured entrepreneurs of all possible support, stressing Haryana’s crucial role in fulfilling the national vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.
During the event, Denso Haryana Pvt Ltd donated two state-of-the-art fire tenders to the Chief Minister under its CSR initiative. Senior officials, including Industries Secretary Dr Amit Kumar Aggarwal, along with MLAs Tejpal Tanwar, Bimla Chaudhary, and Mukesh Sharma, were also present.
