A case has been registered in the Shivaji Nagar police station area of Gurugram for the alleged abduction and gang rape of a Class 11 student. The accused are two young men whom the 17-year-old victim had befriended on Instagram.
The student's family, who are residents of the Shivaji Nagar area, filed a complaint after the incident on Tuesday evening. According to the report, the student was on her way to her daily tuition class when two men she knew approached her in a black car. Despite her refusal, they allegedly forced her into the vehicle on the pretext of dropping her off at her destination.
The accused then drove her to a hilly, isolated area where they reportedly gave her a sedative before raping her. Around 8 pm, the two men dropped the student near her home and fled.
