Ahmedabad 16-Storey Railway Station: With the upcoming 16-storey railway station, Ahmedabad is all set to redefine train travel in India. The 16-floor railway station, which is to become India’s first such facility, is scheduled for completion by July 2027.

The anticipated world-class complex will integrate bullet trains, metro connectivity, conventional rail services, and bus transport into one, as it is designed as a full multimodal transport hub.

Mumbai-Ahmedabad Rail Corridor

The new underground station will be a key interchange on India’s first bullet train corridor, the 508-km Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail project being built with Japanese technology. Built right above Western Railway platforms 10, 11 and 12, it will offer direct, hassle-free connectivity to Kalupur Metro Station.

Once operational, Shinkansen-style bullet trains running at 320 km/h will slash travel time between Mumbai and Ahmedabad to just about two hours.
