Ankit Baliyan Murder Case: In a recent development in the Ankit Baliyan murder case, the mother of the accused, Bholu Shahpuria, stated that the police could shoot him in an encounter if necessary during a Panchayat meeting at Haryana's Sonipat on Tuesday. She disowned her son four years ago and maintains no connection with him. Meanwhile, residents from five villages, Raipur, Shahpur, Rewali, Garh Shahjanpur, and Fazilpur, a panchayat, convened to address the issue.
At the Panchayat, Rahul alias Bholu Shahpuria's mother, Rajpati, was seen crying and pleading with folded hands to the police and administration. This comes days after Bholu shared an Instagram post, claiming responsibility for Ankit's murder.
What did the mother say?
Bholu’s mother, Rajpati, alleged that her son has not come to the village since the last four years. When his father died in July, he did not return to perform his last rites.
The accused’s mother alleged that she, along with the villagers, is willing to cooperate with the police. Rajpati then claimed that the UP STF, in an earlier threat, threatened to kill her and destroy her house. Additionally, the UP woman appealed to the police not to threaten her younger son, Ritesh, who she claims to be an “innocent”. The woman alleged that Ritesh does not have any links to the murder. Ritesh has been absconding in the fear of being questioned by the police, his mother said.
