Arvind Kejriwal's health is deteriorating day by day and he may slip into a coma, a Delhi Minister claimed on Monday. Atishi, AAP leader and Delhi Minister said that BJP is trying to cause permanent physical damage to Chief Minister Arvid Kejriwal. His blood sugar dropped to 50 mg/dL five times, the AAP Minister claimed.

"Arvind Kejriwal is a diabetic. The report of the Senior Medical Officer of Tihar Jail states that his body aching, his weight is decreasing and his sugar level is falling several times," Atishi claimed in a video message she posted on X.

"If this continues, Arvind Kejriwal may go into coma; he may suffer a brain stroke," she claimed adding that "if sugar levels drop to this extent, a diabetic patient can die within 20-30 minutes. Therefore, they are immediately admitted to the hospital."

She also launched an attack on BJP over Kejriwal's condition in Tihar jail. "I want to tell BJP to fear God and not play with the health of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal," she said.

Meanwhile, the Tihar jail administration has refuted the claims made by Aam Aadmi Party, terming them as 'false' and 'misleading'.

“The blood pressure and sugar levels and weight of the accused are regularly being monitored and he is provided adequate treatment for all his ailments and is regularly having home-cooked food thrice a day,” it said.

BJP's Counterattack

Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has stated that as the court hearing date approaches, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal starts making statements about threats to his life and his health. AAP leaders claim that Kejriwal faces health issues such as a drop in blood sugar levels and weight loss.
