The Ayodhya Ram Mandir is set to be inaugurated on Monday, January 22. The idol of Ram Lalla will be consecrated in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum after a series of rituals that began on January 16. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, which marks the installation of the deity, is expected to be attended by nearly 8,000 guests, including dignitaries and devotees.
Devotees who wish to visit the temple and participate in the Aarti have to book their slots online or offline. There are three Aarti timings in Ayodhya Ram Mandir:
-
Jagaran/Shringar Aarti: This is the first Aarti of the day, performed at 6:30 am. It is also known as the awakening or adornment Aarti, as it signifies the waking up of the deities and their preparation for the day.
-
Bhog Aarti: This is the second Aarti of the day, performed at 12 pm. It is also known as the food offering Aarti, as it involves offering various dishes to the deities as a sign of love and respect.
-
Sandhya Aarti: This is the third and final Aarti of the day, performed at 7:30 pm. It is also known as the evening or sunset Aarti, as it marks the end of the day and the beginning of the night.
The Darshan timings are 7 am to 11:30 am and 2 pm to 7 pm when devotees can visit for darshan of Ram Lalla. The online booking is currently on hold due to high demand while the offline booking is subject to availability of slots.
