Gurmail Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap, accused of killing former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique, reportedly learned shooting techniques through YouTube videos. As many as four individuals linked to Siddique’s murder have been arrested so far, while three others are still at large. Multiple police teams have been formed and sent to several states to apprehend the absconding suspects.

“The accused were given Baba Siddique's photo to identify him. The shooters had surveyed his residence and office 25 days before the incident. Gurmail Singh and Dharamraj Kashyap learned shooting from YouTube and practised shooting without a magazine in Mumbai,” ANI quoted the Mumbai Police as saying.

Mumbai Police on Tuesday arrested two more individuals linked with the case. One of them, Harish, is a scrap shop owner from Pune, where the primary suspects—Dharmaraj and Shivprasad Gautam—had been working. Harish had recently bought new mobile phones for both suspects and was fully aware of their role in the crime.

The second arrest involves Anurag Kashyap, the brother of Dharmaraj Kashyap, another key suspect already in custody.

Harish is alleged to have funded the trio—Dharmaraj, Shivprasad, and Anurag—for carrying out the murder. Additionally, he is accused of providing them with a motorcycle and a place to stay in Kurla, Mumbai.

Former Mumbai MLA and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddique was shot at by three attackers outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office on Saturday night. He was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital where he was declared dead. Baba Siddique was laid to rest on Sunday.
