Bengaluru News: A Bengaluru autorickshaw driver has touched thousands of hearts online after a passenger noticed that he carried a picture of his late pet dog in his vehicle. The story, shared on Reddit, has since gone viral with people praising his love and kindness.

In a reddit post, a passenger recounted their encounter with the driver “An auto driver who carries his late dog's picture with him every day!”. They wrote that when they booked an auto and informed the driver they would be late, they later found him feeding biscuits to street dogs while waiting.

“When I reached, I saw him feeding street dogs some dog biscuits. Not Parle-G! Now the sweet part, he had this picture of a dog pasted in the front of his auto,” the Reddit user wrote.

The driver told the passenger that the dog in the photo was his pet, who had passed away just a month earlier. The pet was only four months old at the time. The passenger admitted being moved by his gesture and decided to give him ₹100 extra at the end of the ride to buy more biscuits for the strays. Though the driver initially refused, he eventually accepted after being told it was meant for the animals.

One comment read, “May he get double the love and kindness he spreads,” while another added, “Man loves dog. Good man. Dog loves man. He is a very good man.”
