Bengaluru Hebbal Flyover renovation: Bengaluru's much-hyped Hebbal flyover is expected to be ready for the use of residents in the next 100 days. The Karnataka government on Monday stated that soon the people will be able to use the flyover as the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) was given a deadline to finish the project in around three months. The BDA has been instructed to finish the renovation work of the KR Pura loop of the flyover.
Karnataka Chief Secretary Shalini Rajneesh has directed the authority to complete the task in the given deadline. He stated that the flyover will be very crucial, as not only will it decongest the traffic in the city, it will also give a financial boost, as the transportation will be much easier after this. The chief secretary released his order after the concerned authorities missed the initial deadline.
The chief secretary stated that the authority was directed to complete the ramp work starting from the Baptist Hospital side and then to further connect the partially demolished part before December 31, 2024. It was further stated that the last stretch of the flyover is very crucial as it will ease traffic jams towards Mekhri Circle from the KR Pura side.
This stretch of the flyover is expected to significantly mitigate congestion in these areas. The authority stated that the completion of the last stretch will not only address the traffic congestion, but it will make the city's transportation more efficient.

The BDA has been given 100 days to finish the construction work on the ramp from the Baptist Hospital side and connect it with the incomplete ramp for vehicles coming from KR Pura and going towards Mehkri Circle. If the authority completes the construction work within the given deadline, it will provide convenience to thousands of the commuters coming from the Nagawara side and going towards Mehkri Circle.
