A man was arrested in Bengaluru for allegedly posting morphed pictures of his 24-year-old live-in partner on various social media platforms. Police said that the accused, identified as Sanjay Kumar (26), stated that he derived “pleasure” from reading comments posted below the uploaded pictures of his girlfriend.

The two are from Tamil Nadu’s Vellore and have known each other since class 10. They were also planning to get married soon, the boy said during police interrogation.

The woman had filed a complaint with police along with Sanjay Kumar, claiming that someone had uploaded her private pictures on some social media platforms such as Telegram and Instagram.
