Bengaluru Power Cut Oct 5: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced a shutdown in several areas in Bengaluru on Sunday, October 5, due to emergency maintenance work to be carried out.

The Power outage is scheduled for comparatively long hours, from 9 am to 6:30 pm, at various places. According to the notification from BESCOM, the electricity disruption in Bengaluru will affect the Tumakuru division.

The planned outage is part of ongoing efforts to upgrade the system and improve power reliability in the region.

The power outage in Bengaluru due to maintenance work will take place from 9 am to 6:30 pm at the following locations-

Chelur

Cholenahalli

Kodigenahalli

Nasur

Mastihalli

D. Kotegere

and nearby villages.

Bengaluru Power Outage Sunday: BESCOM Advisory

BESCOM advises residents to prepare for the power outage by taking a few precautions. Charge your electronic devices, including mobile phones and power banks, in advance. Store sufficient water for drinking and other needs, especially in areas dependent on electric pumps.

During the outage, avoid using heavy electrical appliances to prevent overloading and ensure safety. Stay informed through official BESCOM channels for updates and schedule changes.

“These upgrades are crucial to strengthening the network and preventing unplanned disruptions in the future,” a BESCOM spokesperson said.
