Bengaluru Power Cut Tomorrow: Shutdown Announced By BESCOM; Check Affected Areas, Timings

Bengaluru Power Cut: The Bangalore Electricity Distribution Company (BESCOM) has announced a shutdown in multiple areas of Bengaluru on December 25, Christmas, in view of scheduled maintenance and infrastructural works. BESCOM has urged residents to plan their day in advance to avoid inconvenience.

Bengaluru Power Cut Timings

The shutdown will take place in Bengaluru from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The supply will be restored if works are completed ahead of schedule.

Bengaluru Power Cut Affected

-Padmanabhanagar, Subramanyapura, Uttarahalli, Banashankari 2nd and 3rd Stage, ISRO Layout, Kumaraswamy Layout, Jayanagar 7th and 8th Block, and surrounding areas.

-Vijayanagar, RPC Layout, Nagarabhavi, Chandra Layout, Attiguppe, Basaveshwaranagar, and parts of Magadi Road.

-Girinagar, Hosakerehalli, Kengeri Satellite Town, and areas in Rajajinagar.

Bengaluru Weather

Bengaluru and multiple districts of Karnataka, including Bidar, Kalaburagi, Yadgir and Vijayapura, are currently in the grip of a cold wave with temperatures plummeting to 5 to 8 degrees Celsius.

While the city is set for a prolonged dry spell, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast plunging night temperatures and dense early-morning fog, particularly in the capital and northern districts of Karnataka.
