Bengaluru Rain Today: Bengaluru is set to experience moderate to heavy rain along with thunderstorms later today, with conditions expected to begin around 4:30 to 5:00 PM on Saturday.
Bengaluru's weather blogger, known as the Bengaluru Weatherman on X (formerly Twitter), has warned of isolated lightning strikes and brief, intense downpours in various areas. While some parts of the city may see heavy rain, these showers are likely to be short-lived.

As of 3 PM, light rain has already been noted in areas such as Whitefield, Kalyan Nagar, Jayanagar, and Padmanabhanagar.

Bengaluru Weather Forecast For 7-Days
Looking ahead, a generally cloudy sky is anticipated over the next few days, with ongoing chances of rain and thunderstorms. On October 19, temperatures are expected to range from 20 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees Celsius. Similar weather conditions are forecasted for October 20 and 21, with possible rain or thunderstorms. Light rain is predicted on October 22, while October 23 and 24 may bring more consistent rainfall.
Another weather enthusiast on X cautioned, “Don’t let the sun fool you; it might be sunny for a while, but rain is on the way.”
Meanwhile, Saturday began with a cool, foggy morning, giving the city a refreshing hill-station vibe. The temperature was around 23 degrees Celsius, with forecasts indicating a minimum of 20.49 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 26.67 degrees Celsius later in the day.
