Bengaluru Registers Hottest Day Of Year; Temperature To Rise Further In Next 3-4 Days | What IMD Says

Bengaluru Weather: Bengaluru on Friday, March 14 registered the hottest day of the year so far in March after the garden city touched 35 degrees Celsius. The city is expected to experience rising temperatures over the next three to four days. It was 35.4 degrees Celsius in Bengaluru city, 35.6 degrees Celsius at HAL Airport, and 35.5 degrees Celsius at Kempegowda International Airport.

“So far, the maximum temperature recorded was about 34 degrees Celsius, but now it has crossed 35 degrees Celsius, and Friday is the hottest day of the year. The temperature will be above 35 degrees Celsius for the next three to four days,” CS Patil, scientist and director, IMD Bengaluru told The Hindu.

IMD Explains Reason For Rising Temperature

Patil explained that the prevailing hot and humid conditions were due to dry air and the absence of cloud cover. The weather forecast indicates that cloud formation is unlikely in the coming days, and similar conditions are expected to continue.

March15 : The temperature will range from 19 degrees Celsius to 35 degrees Celsius. The sky will be partly cloudy, with warm daytime conditions.

March 16: A slight drop in temperature, with a high of 34 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain partly cloudy.

March 17 : The maximum temperature will be 33 degrees Celsius, and the weather will stay partly cloudy throughout the day.

March 18: No major change in temperature, with a high of 33 degrees Celsius. The sky will continue to be partly cloudy.

March 19: Similar weather conditions, with a high of 33 degrees Celsius and a partly cloudy sky.

March 20: The temperature will stay at 33 degrees Celsius, but the sky will be mostly clear.

Bengaluru is experiencing warm weather, with daytime temperatures ranging between 33 degrees Celsius and 35 degrees Celsius and nighttime temperatures holding steady at 19 degrees Celsius. The sky will remain partly cloudy for most days, except on March 20, when mainly clear skies are expected.
