Bengaluru Weather: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rain in Bengaluru, from January 30 to February 2. As per the weather body, the city will experience a mix of misty mornings, light rain, and cloudy skies over the coming days. Daytime temperatures are expected to reach 28-30 degrees Celsius, while night-time temperatures will dip to 16 degrees Celsius. Bengaluru residents have been experiencing foggy conditions with occasional downpour, recently and now Bangaloreans should gear up for a rainy week ahead.

Northeast Monsoon Update
The shift in Bengaluru’s weather is part of a broader seasonal transition. January 26 marked the official conclusion of the Northeast Monsoon season. As a result, temperatures are now peaking at 30 degrees Celsius during the day and dropping to a cool 15-16 degrees Celsius at night.

India’s monsoon cycle is marked by significant dates. The Southwest Monsoon begins around June 1, reaching Bengaluru between June 5 and 8. It withdraws by October 15, giving way to the Northeast Monsoon. This year, the end of the Northeast Monsoon on January 26 signals the start of cooler weather patterns and intermittent rain.
