A man from Himachal Pradesh ordered a set of men’s underwear from online delivery platform Blinkit, a grocery delivery platform owned by Zomato. However, when the order arrived, Priyansh, a customer of Blinkit, found himself unwrapping a set of women's bikini briefs instead of the Jockey men’s underwear, his original order. The incident left him completely stunned and he contacted the platform’s customer care team to request a return or refund, but his efforts proved futile. He then shared about the matter through a post on social media, which gained a massive 3.3 million views.

“Hello Blinkit, WTF is this? I have ordered Jockey male underwear and you have sent me this. Now how to return this? I have reported this to your help centre still no return or refund had not done yet,” wrote Priyansh on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Hours later, he shared two pictures. One shows the packet in which the product was delivered and the second shows a set of three Jockey panties. He later posted an update revealing that the company refused to refund his money, so he decided to make the best of the bizarre situation. He shared another picture of the panty set – this time with one black-coloured panty missing.

“Update: Blinkit refused to refund my money so i compromised,” he wrote in another post on X.

Netizens took no time in flocking to the comments section and leaving their thoughts.

One person wrote, 'It is in fashion. Kudos!' Another user joked, "Compromising ever since I installed Blinkit. Once I ordered potatoes and they ended up delivering pumpkin. So I made pumpkin fries."

Another comment read, "We Indians won't waste." A clothe delivery platform @blip.fashion commented, "Why compromise when there's a better service out there? Send us your address and we will send one."

A cheeky comment read, “Assume it is v-shaped briefs for men. Close your eyes and wear it.”

Notably, most retailers have a “no backsies” policy for underwear to make sure everything remains clean and safe for other customers.

"Products once delivered are non-returnable/ non-replaceable/ non-exchangeable," BlinkIt says on its website.

However, there are two exceptions to the rule: "(a) If the product is damaged, defective, expired at the time of delivery or incorrectly delivered, and (b) if the return/ exchange policy listed with respect to the relevant product expressly and specifically permits the same."
