Jagran Correspondent, Delhi: As thousands of students continue to protest at Jantar Mantar for over a month, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged exam irregularities and the NEET paper leak, the agitation has now begun to impact schools in the national capital.
The ongoing protest by the CJP (Cockroach Janata Party) over alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG examination has led to heightened security arrangements in Central Delhi, resulting in traffic restrictions and the repeated closure of several Metro stations. These disruptions have prompted multiple schools to alter their academic schedules and transportation arrangements.
According to Jagran.com, RS Junior Modern School, located on Humayun Road, has decided to conduct classes for students from Nursery to Grade 5 in hybrid mode (offline and online) from July 24 until further notice.
In a circular issued to parents, the school said the decision was taken in view of the prevailing situation in Central Delhi. Students attending classes from home have been instructed to join their scheduled lessons via Microsoft Teams, wear their school uniform, and follow the regular timetable.
However, the school's bus services will continue to operate as per the usual schedule.
Similarly, Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, located in Lodhi Estate, has also shifted to a hybrid mode of instruction.
According to school administrations, traffic movement across several parts of Central Delhi has been severely affected due to the ongoing protests. The repeated closure of multiple Metro stations has also caused significant inconvenience for commuters, with the disruption now beginning to impact the functioning of schools as well.
