India has called Pakistan's claims of destroying air force stations and bases 'completely false.' In a press briefing, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, and Vyomika Singh busted Pakistan's claim.
The time-stamped images of the bases and air force stations were also shown by Colonel Sofiya Qureshi to debunk such claims.
Meanwhile, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri informed that Pakistan's actions have been escalatory and provocative, while India's response was defensive and responsible.

Speaking about Pakistan's attempted strikes, Colonel Sofiya Qureshi said that the neighbouring country tried to infiltrate via air "Pakistani army is continuously attacking the western borders; it has used drones, long-range weapons, loitering munitions and fighter jets to attack India's military sites... India neutralised many dangers, but Pakistan tried to infiltrate via Air at more than 26 places, and they damaged our equipment and personnel at air force bases in Udhampur, Bhuj, Pathankot, Bathinda. They used high-speed missiles at 1:40 am to target Punjab's air base. They even attacked health facilities and schools..."
On India's retaliation, she said, "India targeted Command and Control centres, radar sites and ammunition dumps... Sialkot aviation base also targeted with precision ammunition. India ensured minimum collateral damage."
Pak Army troops moving forward
Addressing the media, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh said that Pakistani forces have been moving towards forward areas, adding that the Indian army is ready to respond to all hostile actions in equal proportion. She further stated that while India remains committed to not escalating the situation, it will respond to the violent acts by Pakistan.
India also ripped into Pakistan over misleading claims of Indian missiles hitting Afghan territories. DG ISPR had claimed that one of the missiles had fallen in Afghan territory. Misri said Afghan people know which country has been targeting civilians.
