DDA Housing Scheme 2025: In a major update, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) extended the deadline for the registration and sale of flats under Sabka Ghar Awaas Yojana 2025 and Shramik Awaas Yojana 2025 due to the overwhelming public response. DDA stated that bookings under both schemes would now reopen from April 9 and continue till April 30 midnight. "The remaining unsold flats will be available for booking," it added.

The schemes offer various discounts, including a special discount of 25 per cent on EWS, LIG, MIG and HIG flats in Narela, and LIG flats in Siraspur and Loknayakpuram. There is also a 20 per cent special discount for MIG flats in Loknayakpuram for disadvantaged people.

Last month, DDA announced an addition of 107 MIG flats in its housing scheme for sale after receiving a good reaction from the netizens. The authority stated that these flats will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The authority had earlier announced that under the housing schemes, the customers would get a discount of up to 25 per cent on buying a house in the national capital.

The authority stated that people from backward classes of society are being given flats at a discount of 20 per cent under this housing scheme. While providing details, the authority stated that booking of these flats commenced on March 15, and 63 HIG flats were launched in Loknayak Puram in the initial phase.

It stated that these flats are built along the Urban Extension Road (UER-2) and are located just 20 minutes away from Indira Gandhi Airport, adding that all the flats were sold in just a few days.

However, the authority stated that to meet the demands, it announced the sale of an additional 107 flats under the scheme. It stated that all these flats will be sold with a 20 per cent discount, adding that the people belonging to the backward classes of the society will be given preferences.

The DDA stated that out of these 107 flats, 17 flats are in Tower A and the remaining 90 flats are in Tower B. Their estimated price is Rs 1.18 to 1.23 crore, adding that after a 20 per cent discount, these flats will be available for Rs 94.4 to 99 lakh.
