As a thick layer of smog continues to blanket the national capital, over 300 flights got delayed at Delhi Airport due to low visibility, according to Flight Tracker 24, a flight tracker website. 115 flights arriving in Delhi since midnight and 226 departing flights from the national capital have been delayed, reported the website.
As of now, incoming flights are delayed by an average of 17 minutes, while outgoing flights are experiencing a significant delay of 54 minutes on average, said the website. However, it was not mentioned that these delays were due to bad weather or the smog.
Earlier in the day, Delhi Airport from its X handle posted a notification and wrote, "Low visibility procedures in progress at Delhi Airport. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information."

This morning, winter fog may impact flights to/from Amritsar, Varanasi & Delhi. Do keep a tab on your flight status before heading to the airport. Also, please allow additional travel time as road traffic may move slower than usual due to low visibility. Thank you for your patience, and we wish you a smooth journey," said the Airlines.
